Crossing the river on the Daintree Ferry is part of the adventure — a step into a world straight out of Jurassic times! The cable ferry takes around five minutes to carry you across the Daintree River and operates continuously from 5 am to midnight every day.
Once across, a sealed road provides easy 2WD access all the way to Cape Tribulation.
For those with a 4WD, the adventure can also continue north along the iconic Bloomfield Track toward Cape York.
